About the Organization

The Allied Paramedical Education and Skill Technical Council is an organization incorporated under the applicable provisions of the Companies Act and administered through the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India.

The organization is engaged in promoting vocational education, skill development, paramedical awareness, and employment-oriented training programmes for social and educational advancement.

The Council functions with the objective of supporting skill-based education in alignment with the broader goals and policy initiatives relating to vocational education and skill development introduced by the Government of India from time to time, including frameworks such as the National Vocational Education Qualification Framework (NVEQF) and National Skills Qualifications Framework (NSQF).

Skills, knowledge, and innovation are important driving forces for economic growth and social development. Vocational education plays a significant role in enhancing employability, self-employment opportunities, and socio-economic progress, particularly in developing countries like India. The organization therefore seeks to expand access to vocational and skill-oriented education by offering need-based training programmes and promoting practical learning opportunities.

The Council aims to democratize vocational education by extending educational opportunities to learners irrespective of age, region, or formal educational background, while encouraging skill-oriented learning for personal and professional development.
